BLURRING INDOOR-OUTDOOR BOUNDARIES

One of the main goals is to blur the boundaries between the interior and exterior, allowing the essence of the natural landscape to permeate every corner of the complex. The high-quality lifestyle approach goes beyond mere aesthetics, encompassing all aspects of the residents' and guests' experience. From luxurious residential units with stunning panoramic views of the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea to world-class hospitality amenities nestled in the forest, every detail is meticulously designed to exceed expectations.

In the architectural conception of the project, we embarked on a creative process that redefines the residential experience. This high-quality complex presents itself as a harmonious fusion between contemporary elegance and respectful adaptation to the natural environment. The choice of local, authentic, and sustainable materials reflects the commitment to cultural and environmental integration. The design is enriched with the region’s rich architectural history, incorporating contemporary elements that effortlessly blend into the context.

Each apartment and villa is designed to offer a unique residential experience, combining luxury and comfort with an uninterrupted connection to nature. The interiors are equipped with high-quality finishes and the latest technologies, giving residents full control over their living environment. The spacious terraces offer private outdoor spaces where residents can relax and enjoy the panoramic views.

The complex also features facilities that include a communal pool and coworking spaces. These amenities are designed to enhance residents' quality of life, providing everything needed to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle without having to leave the complex.

In summary, this project in Altea represents a perfect synergy between modern architecture and respect for the natural environment. Every aspect of the design has been thoughtfully created to craft a space that is not only visually appealing but also offers an exceptional quality of life. It exemplifies how architecture can integrate with nature to create living spaces that are both beautiful and sustainable.

PROJECT GEOMETRY

The project comprises multifamily blocks developed into four units per floor, totaling 32 apartments and 10 villas distributed over two above-ground floors and one basement floor. The ground floor is dedicated to the sleeping areas, while the first floor is reserved for the living areas. The villas on the first floor, also rectangular in shape, are rotated with respect to the ground floor to emphasize the geometry, orient the views towards the sea, and provide privacy from neighboring homes, as they are all uniformly oriented.

Additionally, a common area has been designed beneath the access road to the upper villas, connected to an outdoor recreation area with a pool and uncovered communal areas. This space not only offers a place for leisure but also fosters interaction and community among residents, in an environment that respects and celebrates the natural beauty of Altea.

INTEGRATION AND SUSTAINABILITY

The integration of the design with the existing topography not only ensures spectacular views but also minimizes the environmental impact of the development. The materials chosen for construction are local and sustainable, reducing the project’s carbon footprint and supporting the regional economy. The architectural design incorporates passive climate control techniques, using the orientation and natural materials to efficiently regulate the interior temperature. Large windows and sliding doors allow natural light to enter, reducing the need for artificial lighting and improving the energy efficiency of the complex.

Sustainability extends beyond construction materials and techniques. Green spaces and communal gardens not only provide beauty and recreation but also promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. The choice of native plants minimizes water use and maintenance, creating an environment that is both beautiful and ecologically responsible.

APARTMENTS DESIGNED FOR USER COMFORT

The building's design is based on offering an exceptional living experience. A space has been created that combines serenity and sophistication, where every line and angle is carefully planned to provide harmony and well-being. Geometry is used functionally, with simple and elegant forms defining the structure of the building.

Each space within this luxury residential building is designed with precision. From the common areas to the private residences, every corner is intended to offer an unparalleled living experience. Symmetry and order contribute to an atmosphere of tranquility and balance, while golden details add a touch of glamour and exclusivity.

The building’s double golden façade is a distinctive feature symbolizing luxury and renewal. This design not only enhances the aesthetics and visual order of the building, but also provides a warm and attractive glow, reminiscent of the sunrise over Valencia, evoking feelings of vitality and prosperity.

PROMOTING SPACES FOR INTERACTION

The residential complex is not limited to offering high-quality homes but also focuses on creating an environment that fosters interaction and community among its residents. On the ground floor, the entrance lobby serves as the first meeting point, designed with an emphasis on spaciousness and natural light to create a welcoming and functional space. This lobby acts as an extension of the homes, providing a common area where residents can gather and socialize.

The gym, also located on the first floor, is another key space for social interaction, promoting not only a healthy lifestyle but also serving as a place where residents can connect through shared interests and well-being.

A coworking area, also on the first floor, caters to the needs of modern professionals seeking a flexible and collaborative workspace. This area is designed to be multifunctional, with open workspaces, private meeting rooms, and lounge areas that facilitate both productivity and collaboration. The advanced connectivity and technology in the coworking space ensure that residents can work efficiently while enjoying an environment that inspires creativity and cooperation.

The storage room on the ground floor offers practical solutions for storing bicycles and other bulky items, making daily life easier and encouraging the use of sustainable transportation methods.

Additionally, two large commercial spaces on the ground floor are designed to integrate with the neighborhood, providing services that benefit both the building's residents and the surrounding community. These spaces foster interaction between the building's inhabitants and the neighbors in La Punta, creating a synergy that revitalizes and enriches the area.

ELEVATING THE QUALITY OF SOCIAL HOUSING

The primary goal of the project is to significantly improve the quality of life for residents through an architectural design focused on dignity and comfort. Although the project is developed within the framework of social housing, our ambition is to elevate the quality of life for its inhabitants through architectural design.

Inspired by Ceuta’s rich cultural history and the vitality of its community, the architects have conceived an environment that not only provides housing but also fosters a sense of identity and belonging. The interior spaces are designed to maximize natural light and functionality, creating environments that promote the physical and emotional well-being of the residents. Additionally, green and recreational areas have been integrated into the urban design, facilitating contact with nature and promoting healthy lifestyles. Ultimately, our project goes beyond simply building homes; it represents a commitment to positive transformation and social inclusion. With imagination as our guide, we face the challenges with creativity and determination, creating a legacy of hope and dignity for future generations in Ceuta.

FOSTERING COMMUNITY

Beyond architectural considerations, the project includes extensive common areas designed to encourage social interaction and strengthen community bonds. These spaces are not only places for recreational activities and informal gatherings but also serve as meeting points where residents can share experiences and build meaningful relationships. From playgrounds for children to relaxation areas for the elderly, every detail is designed to support an active and enriching community life.

This comprehensive approach aims not only to improve living conditions but also to promote positive and sustainable social integration at the heart of Ceuta.

SPACES THAT FOSTER COMMUNITY LIVING

The community area, a wide expanse of green spaces at the heart of the project, has become a focal point: a shared refuge where residents can connect, relax, and enjoy. Pools and recreational areas were strategically placed, creating a central hub where the community can thrive.

With the aim of fostering relationships among neighbors, the complex integrates an outdoor communal space formed by a garden adapted to local vegetation. This space includes a pool for children and adults, a large solarium area, and a social room for gatherings and activities. The outdoor and communal spaces are designed to promote a relationship between users and nature through various pathways and vegetated areas. The exterior pathways manage different elevation levels with walkways and ramps, always accompanied by gabion walls and vegetation, making the walk more enjoyable.

AN EFFICIENT COMPLEX

The complex takes into account the importance of outdoor spaces and the responsible management of resources. For this reason, native trees and shrub species were selected, promoting biodiversity and optimizing water resources. Plant species were also chosen for their ability to add color and fragrance at different times of the year. In addition to its focus on biodiversity, Golf Residences was designed with a strong commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. The complex incorporates renewable energy systems, such as solar panels on the roofs of the homes, which provide clean electricity and significantly reduce the development's carbon footprint. These solar panels not only power the daily energy needs of the residences but also contribute to the lighting of the common areas. The design of the homes maximizes the use of natural light and cross ventilation, reducing the need for artificial lighting and climate control systems for much of the year. The homes are equipped with smart energy management systems that optimize consumption and ensure efficient use of resources.

Additionally, a rainwater collection and reuse system has been implemented for watering the gardens and green areas, ensuring that natural resources are maximized. This holistic approach not only seeks to minimize the environmental impact of the complex but also to create a healthy and sustainable environment for its residents. As the vision solidified, the creation phase began with meticulous attention to the site's unique characteristics. Local materials were carefully chosen to complement the Valencian landscape, anchoring the residences in their natural surroundings and promoting responsible development that respects and harmonizes with the environment.

LAYOUT AND FUNCTIONALITY

In the heart of Spain’s Costa Blanca, Villa Alfabega rises as a beacon of modern design. Located in the Les Rotes region, south of Denia, this isolated single-family home benefits from a privileged setting with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and access to the golden beaches that characterize this coastline. The residence is developed over two floors, each with a clearly defined function: Ground Floor: Hosts the day area, with open, bright spaces extending outward. First Floor: Dedicated to the night area, providing privacy and tranquility. A staircase located behind the main courtyard connects both levels, acting as the design’s central axis.

MATERIALS AND FINISHES

The color palette, dominated by bright whites and warm earthy tones, is inspired by the cliffs and beaches of the region. The materials used, such as local stone and treated wood, add texture and warmth, harmoniously contrasting with smooth, modern surfaces.

The selection of materials plays a crucial role in both the villa’s aesthetics and functionality:

Extensive use of glass allows for constant visual connection with the outdoors. Wood in interior finishes adds warmth and texture. Slats on the facade provide privacy and solar control while adding a visually interesting element.

The interior spaces are characterized by their ample dimensions and high ceilings, creating welcoming and well-ventilated environments. The layout of the rooms and the careful selection of materials contribute to making Villa Alfabega a practical and comfortable home, perfectly adapted to the Mediterranean lifestyle.

SUSTAINABILITY AND ADAPTATION TO THE ENVIRONMENT

The design incorporates passive climate control elements, such as strategic orientation, overhangs, and slats, which allow for energy-efficient use. The integration of courtyards and semi-outdoor spaces promotes natural ventilation and reduces the need for artificial air conditioning.

Overall, Villa Alfabega represents a modern vision of Mediterranean architecture, where functionality, aesthetics, and respect for the environment combine to create a truly exceptional home on the Denia coast.
